this is my friends ~Abietic-Acid's christmas present.

if you know her like i do she randomly takes pictures at any time, any temperature (and i have been the object of some of those pictures)

so for christmas i decided to give her a scarf that looks like a roll of film. this took a long time because it just kept going and going and going and the same pattern was repeated over a dozen times but you cant disagree with the result.

it was made like my L scarf ([link]) and it reversable but is the same pattern.

the gift is loved greatly and used often in the alberta chills.

What a neat scarf idea! How hard is it to do the double sided patterns? I remember seeing a how-to video on it before, but I've never given it a try.

i dont do double sided patterns.
i double the stitches i cast on then i have the 2 patterns side by side then when i am done i fold it in half and sew it up the side. that way its double as warm.
did that make any sense?
well i made it the same way as my L scarf ([link]) if you can make any sense out of the pictures.
or i guess you could knit it with a circular needles....

haha Wow Janine, when i first saw these my first thought was..." Wow, she really took a more...photography approach to it " so i award you with that...( and this comment goes for Genevs too) and btw she loves it and so did the rest of her family. :heart:
