TFioScarf by harelquin-demon TFioScarf by harelquin-demon

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our scarves.

I love John Green's newest novel The Fault in our Stars, the story is amazing and that book cover BRILLIANT! So inspired by the cover, the story and the amazingness of Nerdfighteria, I decided to knit this scarf. I've seen other The Fault in our Stars related items and they include yellow for the Signed Copy sticker but I could not work the colour into the design and I was a little scorned because my pre-order wasn't signed.

My friend ~DoctorBellatrix helped me design it, she's also helped me with business cards, the logo on my website and my new cover photo on my Facebook page [link] My artsy fartsy photoshopping friend. I can't do anything on a computer but give me two pointy sticks (or four) and a bit of string and I can blow your mind!

I've decided to donate 15% of the sale to the This Star Won't Go Out foundation.

I don't know what else to say besides BUY THIS BOOK SOOOOOOOO GOOD!

:la: I'm in love with this book, and I'm obsessed with knitting, so I'm not sure I can adequetly describe to you how AWESOME you are. Shoptalk- did you use a medium weight yarn? It sort of loods like it from the scale of the book, but I can't tell. This design is so amazing.

Thank you. The scarf was a collaboration between myself and my friend ~DoctorBellatrix She was insistent on the stripes which at the time I wasn't sold on. I'm so proud of how it turned out. It's awesome having something that was a collaboration between my friend and myself be so popular.
The blue was a medium yarn, but the black and white were worsted weight.

Such a cool idea! I'm re-reading the book right now...I can't get over how absolutely brilliant it is.

And I love the scarf pun.

Oh I cried, well I'd laugh and then cried. When I finished it I had an Ester Day moment with my Mom. It's fantastic! A great read!

The TFioScarf pun or the Brutus pun? Because the TFioScarf pun is because it's a tongue twister to say The Fault in our Stars Scarf without accidentally dropping the stars, also hence the Brutus pun.

Oh, I know. It's such a funny yet heartbreaking novel (all the best ones are...)

I was thinking of the Brutus pun at the time, but I love both of them
